This year, Mr Phillip Pain has been leading the CCS Photography Collective on Monday afternoons from 3:15-5pm. The group focuses on learning new methods of photographic production and the techniques necessary for creating beautiful photos and film. The group comprises students from Year 7 – 10. Additionally, the group has the added advantage of being a fit perfect for the skill section for those doing the Duke of Edinburgh’s award!
This term they have been exploring hi- key techniques using studio lighting equipment, as well as action shots. Mr Pain has stated the aim of the CCS Photography Collective “primarily is to have fun whilst learning the basics of composition, aperture, exposure and photo manipulation”. Isaiah Hill, a member of the CCS Photography Collective has shown great appreciation for Mr Pain’s efforts, stating that “this club is a very fun way to learn new things about photography. It has given me inspiration to photograph in my own time”.
